Traffic signals are recommended at the following intersections:
- Brock Road interchange north ramp terminal intersection
- New Highway 6 / Maddaugh Road intersection
- New Wellington Road 34 Midblock interchange ramp terminal intersections
- New Wellington Road 34 Midblock Road / Concession Road 7 intersection
- New Wellington Road 34 Midblock Road / Wellington Road 34 intersection
- Existing Wellington Road 34 / Concession Road 7 intersection
To enhance safety, illumination is recommended in the following locations:
- Full/Continuous illumination along Highway 401 from New Highway 6 to Hanlon Expressway, along Morriston Connection Road, and at the two Highway 6 / Highway 401 interchanges
- Partial illumination of the Brock Road, Wellington Road 34 Midblock and Morriston Connection Road interchanges
- Illumination at signalized intersections & the roundabout
