Property
- The majority of the required property for the interchange and improvements has been acquired.
- Additional property requirements have been identified through design refinements throughout the Design-Build Ready phase and negotiations are ongoing.
- Construction on some entrances will require Permission to Enter and Construct beyond the right-of-way.
- Affected driveways in the Study Area will be modified as necessary in consultation with the property owners to tie into the new roadway alignments.
Emergency Access
- Two emergency / maintenance vehicle turnarounds along Highway 6 / Hanlon Expressway will be provided:
- South of Wellington Road 34 at existing turnaround location; and
- North of existing Maltby Road / Concession Road 4 intersection.
